Welcome to the Muceus Family Blog

Happy New Year 2010! So...this year I have had a vision to connect our Muceus Family together. I first began feeling the need when I logged onto Facebook and saw several Muceus'. Then when I googled 'Muceus' - so many family members came up. Just think about it - Grandma and Grandpa Muceus came from Norway with several sons. The sons sort of 'split' as they became older and now we have many cousins, aunts and uncles all over the country.
I was told many stories of our history from my father Henry S. Muceus as I was growing up and I worry they will be lost if we don't hold onto them. I'm not sure where this Blog will go - but as our family grows in numbers I hope we can hold onto the past and remember where we all came from.
I see families logging on and sharing family photos - stories of the past - and sharing what your families are doing currently. Let's plan a Family Reunion in the year 2011! By that time there will be hundreds of us Muceus' blogging!
Please share this with your families...and a Happy New Year!

This is Lauren Museus. I am one of the daughters of Jon Museus. While looking at some family photos, I came across my family trip to India. Last year after Christmas, my family (as well as my grandparents and some other relatives)had the amazing opportunity to travel to India for two weeks. We had excellent time exploring the country and going on a safari ride while looking for wild tigers. Here is a picture of my entire family who came on the trip in front of the Taj Mahal.
